Mermay 2020

Wanted to challenge myself with this piece. Faces, hands, and water are the 3 things I think I struggle with most, somehow found a way to make this my worst nightmare haha. Always enjoyed the darker side of Mermaids/Sirens. Wanted to try and show the enticing nature of them, trying to lure you to your death. Even added the faint glow of more eyes beneath the surface as if they're a pack hunting.
Pretty pleased with the overall outcome, and I learned a lot painting this too. win-win.
